BURNET COUNTY - A Cedar Park man is dead after a one-vehicle crash on RR 1431 Sunday near the Travis-Burnet county line.

His wife and two children remained hospitalized Monday, officials said.

Ben Aaron Anglin, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, according to Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Tela Mange.

Anglin’s 2007 Kia was heading eastbound on RR 1431 when it ran off the right side of the road during the afternoon.

“The driver overcorrected, striking a culvert and overturning several times,” Mange said.

Injured in the accident were Aleisha Anglin, 25, Eleanor Anglin, 1, and 6-week-old Mackenzie Anglin, all of Cedar Park.

Aleisha Anglin was taken to Austin’s Brackenridge Hospital and the two children were transported to Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas. All were listed in stable condition Monday.

The passengers were wearing seat belts or riding in approved safety seats, Mange said.
